Aloha. Yes, The Movie Tour is operating all year long. I recommend taking this tour in the beginning of your stay so you can revisit your favorite locations! Operating in a 15-25 passenger van space is limited.
Was Gilligan’s Island filmed here? Seems like I read where it was. If so, does this tour include seeing where it was filmed? Planning to come to Kauai in April 2012. Thanks!
Aloha Lisa! Yes there are several locations on Kauai that Gilligan’s Island used in their show. You will be stopping at these locations on the tour. Bob Denver stayed at Coco Palms ( Elvis also stayed there while filming Blue Hawaii) while filming & this will be a stop as well. This is a great tour, you will see a lot of the island in one day. I recommend doing this tour in the beginning of your trip in case you would like to re visit any location on your own. Call me toll free at 1-866-897-1637 today to reserve your seats!
Hello ..
Just a couple of questions for you –
1)what kind of vehicle is the tour in (ie, van, bus, etc)?
2) how many people are usually on a tour of this nature?
3) how long does the tour last?
4) where do we need to go to get on the tour, what side of the island ..?
If better we call to find out, just let us know 🙂
We are there Nov 3-13, 2011 so getting excited and this looks like a great tour!

Question: Where is the Parking at Princeville?
We will be staying at old Pahio Ka O Kai (sp)! Linda
Also, 4 other women will be with me. Youngest of us is 64; I think my hubby and I did this 4 or 5 years ago, but it was in a smaller van. Do we see the opening site of Jurassic Park? Thanks
Aloha Linda! For the Movie Tour you will actually be picked up at your hotel. You will be in a 15 passenger van. The gate from the opening scene to Jurassic Park was only a prop and did not stay on the land, however you will see locations from Jurassic Park on the tour. Keep in mind this tour runs Monday Wednesday and Saturday’s. Because only 15 people can go on each tour this tour fills up in advance. I look forward to your reservation!
Aloha! What is considered a child’s age? under 18? I’ll be in Kauai first week in August, with our party being 5 adults; 3 kids. Thanks,
Aloha Steve! For this particular tour the Child Rate is for ages 3-11 years old. For any one over 11 years old they will be added to the reservation as an “Adult”. Keep in mind this tour only goes out on Monday Wednesday and Saturdays & they fill up quickly. Call and book your reservation today! 1-866-897-1637
We are staying at the Princeville Westin Resort Condos next month. Is there pick-up there or would we need to drive to Kapa’a or Lihue? Mahalo.
Aloha Ann! Yes you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel for the Ali’i Movie Tour.
Will be on Pride of America week of June 13-20. Will you be offering this tour while we are in port? If so, do you pick passengers up at the port? TIA
P.S.…oops…our cruise is JANUARY 13-20, not June! Sorry! Is this your available then, please?
Is this tour available for April 19, 2024 with a pick up from cruise port?
