Chris and his crew couldn’t have been better! They were all very knowledgeable about Kauai and the ocean and made the trip a pleasure! I would definitely use Blue Dolphin Charters again.
Aloha Kim! I agree the crew at Blue Dolphin Charters is amazing! We hope you come back for a visit again soon!
We loved the crew on the Blue Dolphin. They really made it enjoyable. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, brightly colored fish and a shark (not where we went snorkling tho)
We took our grandaughter to Hawaii for a graeduation present and she loved the Blue Dolphin the best. The waters were a little choppy that day, however, that did not take away the wonderful memories it left us.The West Family
Aloha. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your Blue Dolphin trip. Seems everyone fortunate to chose this particular company comes away with the beautiful memories. Thanks for sharing. Hope you and your family will return to Kauai and call us again. With warm aloha. Susan
We are planning a trip to Kauai and I have been researching activities. I am intrigued by the option to go scuba diving. Appx how long is a one tank dive?
Aloha Corrie! This is a great way to experience diving with out all the certification courses. The one tank dive will last 30-45 minutes. Feel free to call or email any additional questions.
Question – Is there shade on the boat for the Blue Dolphin Napali Snorkle? And is there a restroom and showers?
Aloha Jenny! Yes there is a full shaded area on the boat with seating. They serve the food and drinks from there as well. There are bathrooms on the boat as well as a shower. Let me know if you have any other questions. Mahalo!
One more question – on the scuba option are we given a wetsuit to dive with?
Yes, you will be given a shorty wetsuit for the dive.
Three of us went on the morning snorkel tour. We went out about 15 min. into the ocean and then put on our snorkel gear and jumped into the water for an hour of snorkeling. It was beautiful, I even swam with a turtle. When we were done and everyone was on the boat they fed us breakfast (danish, fruit & juices)as we made our way to the Napali Coast. Along the way there were dolphins in front of the boat jumping in the air and spinning. It looked like they were having a lot of fun. They were very entertaining. When we got to the Napali Coast they fed us lunch consisting of cold cuts to make sandwiches, chips, vegetable tray and beer (Coors Light hooray) and mai tais. The crew was very personable and attentive to everyone’s needs. It was a great day!
Aloha Michele! It is so nice to hear you had a great time! This is one of the tours I always bring my family and friends on while visiting the island. It is such a great day! We look forward to your return to Kauai!
Hi. We’re coming in May for 2 weeks with our 2 kids who are 4 years old and 2.5 years old. What activity would be good w/kids this small? Could we do the boat but I guess no snorkeling bc of the kids? What activities could we do? Thanks
Aloha Leslie! Yes your whole family can do this tour. There are life jackets and floatation devises available for the children if you would like to participate in the snorkeling. It is limited what children that age can do. However they can do any of the Luaus or Air Tours as well as this boat tour.
