Reviews, Comments, & Questions:

How much walking or hiking is involved in the tree top tour?

Aloha Shawn! The tree top tour is traversed completely in the tree tops. You will start your tour with a walk up about 70ft on a inclined bridge then cross 5 rope bridges during your zipline. So you will see there is not much hiking at all, but a beautiful view from the top of the cook pines! Call us toll free at 1-866-897-1637 to reserve your tour today!

We’re coming in on a cruise. How would we get to your location? How far is it from the cruise ship terminal? I forgot to ask if this event is ok for someone 73 and if your guides are equipped with braking capabilities?

Aloha Gail! This tour now has a check in point a short walk from the Cruise Ship. Isn’t that awesome! It is about 10 minutes away from the port. Age is no problem as long as you are in good physical condition, have not had any recent surgery and are within the weight limit. There are no “brakes” on the zipline. The ziplines are set up to slowly incline toward the end so you come in nice and easy and fairly slow. There will be a guide there at the end of every zipline to help you stop and get you off the zip. Feel free to call with any questions or to make your reservation, 1-866-897-1637. Keep in mind the ziplines do sell out.

Question: I’ve been on a Ropes challenge course before and did not enjoy it at all. So is the 5 bridge crossings you have similar to a bridge on a ropes challenge course? I can’t find any pictures of the bridges so I don’t know if it’s the same. I’ve ziplined on a mickey-mouse one before at the end of the ropes course and loved every 5 seconds of it.

Aloha Marie! These bridge crossings are very steady secure bridges, they are not part of their Eco Challenge that is a little more demanding. Keep in mind children as young as 9 can go on this tour. The Ziplines are awesome!

Stacia Sanny

Is tandem and option on this tour? My daughter is 9, but a little unsure of doing this without being able to see her dad and I.

Aloha Stacia! No this tour does not offer tandem, however our Koloa Zipline Tour does!
